TAKING THE RISK
Take the risk to learn about the magic that’s in your heart.
Believe in yourself and become aware that
you can do what you really want to do.
Cereta Perry, PhD 1988
Sometimes we feel consumed by inner thoughts that question our abilities. We feel blocked or stuck. We forget that all our previous learning developed through a process that began with not knowing. Maybe we feel fear. Maybe we experience anxiety. Maybe our feeling becomes depression; after all, depression is anger turned inward, and in this instance, our anger may be with ourselves.
True courage comes from taking a risk despite our fear, despite any negative esteem. True courage comes from saying you can. You can jump off that high diving board and feel the exhilaration of knowing you did it.
You took the risk.
