I attended a presentation on Marijuana: Myths and Management at the Betty Ford Center, marijuana harms teensRancho Mirage, CA.

The presenter, Jan Copeland, Ph.D. from South Wales, Australia, related a variety of statistics, including that in the United States marijuana, is used more than any other illegal drug. She explained that because marijuana is currently much stronger than in the past, people are more likely to have bad reactions, especially for first-time users. Many people don’t know that teens who smoke marijuana heavily can permanently damage their IQ.
